I don't think radioactive decay works the way people say it does. Everyone seems to think it comes from within, and that doesn't make sense to me. (Based on my concept of gravity and force).
I don't believe anything is truely random - including decay. If one thing in the universe is truely random, then all things cannot be known. Since God knows all things, nothing is random.
Don't let that confuse you; there is still free will. It's just that the past and the future (both of which are the same) are already done and cannot be changed. Only the present can be changed. But I digress....

The idea behind the show is to match up nerds and hotties. (Technically while nerds and geeks are both very smart - geeks have social skills and nerds do not.)

Vegas was what I expected. I played small at first. I went down a small amount day one. Day two I won that back and then some. I was up, but not that much. On my third trip to the table I decided to step it up a notch. I lasted about 5 minutes before I busted out.

I wanted to make a stand which I could put some firewood on.
I only had a few scrap pieces of metal left so I couldn't concern myself too much with the way it looked. Also, I didn't have any long pieces so as you can see in image 2 above I had to weld several pieces together to make one long piece.
My plan for this rack was to make it as big as I could with the scraps I had available. I welded the ends at an angle in an attempt to keep firewood from rolling off.

Have you ever had water in a container and noticed that when you drink it it tastes funny?
The first time I noticed this was when I was snow skiing as a kid. I bought a bota bag canteen. I was so excited. I'm not sure about what, but I thought it was the coolest thing ever. That was until I used it.
After about a hour on the slopes I took my first drink. It tasted like crap.

Sometimes I get into projects without considering the complexity or amount of work involved. Today I had a moment where I had to reconsider the complexity of what I was doing.
