At Saturday's tournament I experienced something unique - I couldn't lose. I've never in my life had a run of so many good cards. Even when I played a hand that wasn't the best I drew out. Over the course of the night I only lost two hands. One of those hands was a small pot where I was involved only because it was so cheap. The other hand was when the tournament got down to Rodney and I. I had about 20,000 in chips and Rodney had about 2,000. I called his all-in with nothing and lost. On the very next hand I again called his all-in and won. Amazing night. I've never been so lucky. I don't know anyone who wouldn't have won the tournament with the cards I was getting.
Some time ago I watched a program on the Discover channel about a project where they created a very strong electromagnetic field and were able to levitate various object inside the field, including a frog.
My last trip to Vegas inspired me to try my hand at tournament play. While I was there I played in three tournaments and made two final tables. I felt I was on my "B" game but I still came out okay. That made me think that maybe I'm good enough to make some money at it.
